Art Every Day
In november doe ik mee met de Art Every Day Challenge. Elke dag posten op dit blog zal niet lukken denk ik, maar ik probeer wel elke dag iets te maken. Donderdag begon ik totaal ongeïnspireerd met het maken van een achtergrond met spray-inkt en verf. Toen die droog was ontstond deze dame ineens op de pagina:

Nieuwe pagina's
De afgelopen dagen heb ik wel elke dag een pagina in mijn Art Journal gemaakt maar nog geen tijd gehad om deze op dit blog te zetten. Een overzicht:

De achtergrond hier is een stuk keukenrol die ik gebruikt heb om verf en inkt van een ander project mee op te deppen. De tekst komt uit een artikel uit Flow.
The background is a piece of tissue paper which I used to dip ink and paint of an other project. The text is from an article of a Dutch magazine (Flow).
Hier heb ik vooral voor het eerst mijn panpastels uitgeprobeerd, geïnspireerd door de video van afgelopen week op Book of Days (

Projecten
Vandaag een simpele pagina met daarop mijn lopende projecten. Ik ben zo iemand die steeds weer iets nieuws wil doen en daarom soms meer projecten heeft lopen dan ze aan kan. Langzamerhand leer ik om er slechts een aantal tegelijk te laten lopen en projecten één voor één af te ronden. Toch zijn het er nog zoveel dat ik af en toe overzicht nodig heb. Vandaag heb ik dat overzicht in mijn Artjournal gemaakt.
De achtergrond is gekleurd met wateroplosbaar krijt(Neocolors II). Terwijl het nog nat was heb ik er spray inkt opgespoten. Als mal heb ik een stuk karton waar kartonnen kaartjes voor een spel uitgehaald zijn gebruikt. Omdat de achtergrond nat was, is de inkt wat uitgelopen, waardoor het effect minder strak is. Toen alles droog was heb ik de tekst en de randen gestempeld en de projecten in de vakjes geschreven.
Today a simple page with the projects I am working on. I am a girl that always wants to do something new and that causes me to have more projects than I can handle. Slowly I am learning to do just a few projects at the same time and finish them one by one. But still there are so many projects that I need some overview now and than. Today I made a list in my artjournal. I coloured the background with watersoluable crayons (Neocoler II) and uses spray ink while it was still wet. I used a piece of leftover cardbord from a game. Inside the squares were cards that were neccessary for the game. Because of the wet background, the ink dripped under the mask and gives a random effect. When the background was dry I stamped the borders and wrote down the projects in the squares.
